The Segway® Personal Transporter (PT) i2 is our most versatile model. Designed for easy operation over a variety of terrains, the i2 features our new LeanSteerT technology as well as the new InfoKeyT controller. The perfect synthesis of form, function and fun, the i2 lets you glide through your daily commute or zip from errand to errand, indoors and out, without worrying about parking
The LeanSteer frame and handlebar tilt left and right in response to your body's natural inclination to lean in the direction you want to travel. The i2 seems to anticipate your every move and adjusts to your slightest whim. The wireless InfoKey controller constantly monitors data such as battery level, speed and distance, and includes a new security feature to help protect your i2.
The i2 also comes equipped with Saphion® lithium-ion batteries. These durable batteries deliver an impressive range of up to 24 miles on a single charge (depending on terrain, riding style and payload). Saphion lithium-ion batteries are low-maintenance, have a long service life and can operate at battery temperatures as low as 14° F / -10° C. The i2 is available in a choice of gloss white or durable anodized black LeanSteer frames and trim. For further customization, a variety of accessories are available from Authorized Segway Dealers.
In addition to the redundant safety features at the heart of all Segway PT models, the i2 comes equipped with a number of standard features, like the wireless infoKey controller, which allows the rider to monitor speed, distance traveled, and battery life, as well as security alarm activation. The LeanSteer frame is adjustable to the comfort of the rider and allows the Segway PT to fit in the trunk of many cars.

The Segway® Personal Transporter (PT) x2 Police is a versatile and productivity-enhancing policing solution, designed specifically for the needs of police officers and security personnel who work in a variety of terrains. Based upon the rugged Segway x2, it features the new LeanSteer technology, the wireless InfoKey controller, long-lasting Saphion® lithium-ion batteries and includes the following components:
- Accessory Bar is perfect for mounting lights, sirens, a GPS unit, and other accessories that utilize round handlebar clamps
- Police/Security Reflectivity helps establish your presence and enhance officer visibility in the dark or in high-traffic locations
- Handlebar Bag offers various storage options for emergency and other patrol equipment
- LED Tail Light attaches with versatile clip and alerts traffic to your presence
- Universal Cargo Plates allow easy attachment of various cargo solutions, including Segway Hard Cases by Givi (not included)
The x2 Police maximizes an officer's visibility, as well as his or her ability to be seen by others. Raising an officer an additional 9.5 inches off the ground, it places an officer a clear head above the crowd. Segway PT riders have superior sight lines for traffic management, crowd control, and community policing. The Segway PT x2 Police also makes officers more approachable, and allows them to respond more quickly to emergency situations, regardless of the terrain.

The Segway® Personal Transporter (PT) x2 Golf is fun, easy to maneuver, and much smaller than a standard golf car. Special low-pressure tires barely disturb the turf and provide a smooth ride over a variety of terrain. Based upon the Segway x2, it features new LeanSteer technology, a wireless InfoKey controller, long-lasting Saphion® lithium-ion batteries and includes the following components:
- Golf Bag Carrier Attachment secures your golf bag to the Segway x2 Golf and allows for easy dismount and club access while playing. Removes easily for storage and transport
